Something is up in today's feature.
The crisp currents are mocking my hesitation.
As if the toes of the water are lined at the edge of the leap, waiting to jump for.... for what? The waves roll and the tippy-top water waits - waits and tenses up into a razor sharp ledge. The wave rolls and pushes and the water waits and waits..... for what?
I sit back in my seat, widen my vision and my breath is gone. The six panel-wide bus windows offering a panoramic widescreen of the Pacific. One single seamless clean line of a beautiful rolling wave. One after another, after another. What a sight. Magnificently inviting and seemingly dangerous. If I reach out and touch it, I swear I'd prick my finger. I find my breath and hold it again, waiting for the drop.

Suddenly I see the beauty in the hesitation.
Still... the wave drops and rolls.
It's perfect.
I am giving up making myself wrong for experiencing hesitation in some major life affairs. The skittishness from looming choice is ever-present, and very much part of my epic wave. It, too, will drop and roll in to shore perfectly. And boy, is it going to be epic.

We can learn so much from the ocean (:
